Miele di Acacia
250 g. in an elegant box - Today it is one of the most appreciated and well known honeys. It occurs between a colorless and pale yellow, liquid state.
The nose it is quite floral, with a hint of pear. The taste is slightly acidic, very sweet (high in fructose) with hints of vanilla, which is delicate yet persistent.
Pairings: It is recommended on aged Pecorino, great for sweetening herbal teas, yogurt, fruit salad and vanilla ice cream.
The Acacia tree is of the Legume family, native to North America and today widely found all over Europe.
The white flowers, similar to those of peas, gather in clusters and give off a very pleasant floral scent.
